Red XL Abdominal Exerciser

38301_large1.gifSo here’s a new thingamajigger that I cannot figure out for the life of me why anyone would pay good money for.

The ads for this product claim “Get the abs you want without having to do back breaking crunches or sit-ups. Simply sit and twist.”

Finally, an answer to our prayers for an easy way to get six pack abs.  Yeah Right!  if you believe that then I have have some Arizona swampland I would like to sell you.

I would hope by now that most people realize that it takes much more than just a newfangled gadget to trim up your waistline.  Things like a strict, reduced calorie diet, cardio, and strength training, a lot of discipline, and even then you aren’t guaranteed to get the ripped up abs of a cover model.

I am sure this “thing” will work the abdominals, even holding the position that the model in the picture is holding will cause the abdominals to work isometrically, but so will most other abdominal exercises.

And the whole bit about “back breaking crunches and sit ups.  There isn’t a very high incidence rate as far as I know of people breaking their backs while doing crunches on the floor.

I will admit I have not tried this product, and I don’t really want to shell out $99.00 to find out for sure if it will give me ripped up abs that I can show off at the beach.

If anyone has bought and tried the Red XL Abdominal Exerciser and seen results, let me know.  I won’t hold my breath, this thing looks like yet another piece of garage furniture.  The seat cushion does look comfortable.
